Wiskunde word daagliks onderrig. Tel en skriftelike aktiwitweite word elke dag gedoen.
Dit is vir ons uiters noodsaaklik dat leerders van konkreet na semi-konkreet en dan na abstrak beweeg.

Hoofreken, skatting en tel is daaglikse aktiwiteite.
Flardkaart aktiwiteite, getallelyne, aan- en terugtel, verdubbeling. halvering, meer / minder, plekwaarde en berekeninge word ontwikkel.
Getalkonsepte word weekliks vasgelê byvoorbeeld:
Inoefening van getalname, getalsimbole, groepering, verdeling, getalkombinasies.
Tel speel ‘n baie belangrike rol.
Ons begin ook met vermenigvuldiging en deling.
Daaglikse probleemoplossing word aangebied.
Place value is important to us. We learn about units, tens and hundreds.
We make time to do practical work.
We also work with money. Rands, cents and money problems about buying and change.
We work and play with shapes. 2D and 3D shapes.
We measure and weigh products. We measure water.
We learn to read the time. We learn about hours, half past and quarter to and past.
Maths is fun! We learn a lot by enjoying what we do!

Life Skills are the back bone of the curriculum. It relates to the social, personal, intellectual, emotional and physical growth of learners and with the way in which these are integrated. This subject develops skills, knowledge, understanding, vocabulary and values which entitles each learner to make good choices and to act appropriately.
Creative arts aims to create a foundation for a balanced creative, cognitive, emotional and social development. Visual Arts develops sensory motor skills and fine and gross motor coordination through materials and art techniques.

Huiswerk word weekliks aan leerders gegee. Dis maklik verstaanbaar en behoort nie baie van u tyd in beslag te neem nie.
Huiswerk is slegs vaslegging van wat ons in klas doen.

During COVID time we send the DBE Workbooks home, as it was prescribed by DBE, and ask the parents to help their children to do 2 pages in the Mathematics book and 2 pages in the Home Language book. Only Monday to Thursday.
Tydens COVID doen ons die DBO werkboeke tuis. Ons doen slegs 2 bladsye Wiskunde en 2 bladsye Taal per dag. Maandag tot Donderdag.
Ons wil graag ‘n goeie kommunikasie tussen ouer en opvoeder hê.
